Racism in the Classroom: Case Studies

Racism in the Classroom: Case Studies

A joint publication of the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI) and the Association of Teacher Educators (ATE).

Following publication of their recent book, Educators Healing Racism, the editors and authors developed case studies on racism in the classroom. These case studies include practical recommendations from teachers who were invited to respond to specific cases and to elaborate on their rationale. Short biographies of the respondents are included so that readers will have an idea of their backgrounds and interests. The book includes discussion questions for the cases. Cases are grouped by children's ages or by teacher education courses.

Gwendolyn Duhon, Cases Author.
