Welcome and Information for CDA Candidates

As a Child Development Associate (CDA) or a CDA Candidate, you have an important role in the care and education of children.  ACEI is pleased to provide you with quick and convenient access to resources to support your professional development.  By becoming a member of ACEI, you have access to a host of benefits (listed below in the “About Membership” section).

ACEI publishes magazines, pamphlets, and articles on child development and childhood education issues. Article summaries can be found online under CE Digest. Please regularly visit our website for information on upcoming conferences and new updates, including our online ACEI Radio broadcasts.

We are also currently expanding its resource section for CDAs and CDA candidates.  We look forward to serving your professional development needs.

ABOUT MEMBERSHIP

ACEI offers multiple membership options.  Read about our membership categories here. A basic membership, for example, is just $30.00 per year and includes the following benefits:

• A subscription to five issues of the ACEI Exchange.
• A subscription to ACEI E-news (e-mail address required).
• Savings on registration to an ACEI event.
• Leadership opportunities through ACEI Network Groups.
• Access to discounts on insurance plans, including professional liability, health, car, and life.

• Access to 6 free hours of online training from CCEI.

Please be sure to include your e-mail address or fax number on your application form to become a member.  Please also note that a group membership (Center or Organization) does not fulfill your membership requirement for your CDA renewal.  However, our individual memberships (Basic, Professional, Professional Plus, or Student) do.
