How To Use This Manual

This manual was designed as a comprehensive, step-by-step, how-to guide for anyone interested in starting a new ACEI Branch or revitalizing a defunct Branch. The manual contains all of the necessary forms needed to become an official ACEI Branch as well as recruitment ideas, committee and officer responsibilities, program and workshop topics, and samples of branch materials (newsletters, programs, brochures).

The manual also contains helpful information for healthy maintenance of your existing Branch. The sections pertaining to finances and membership would be of particular interest to a Branch that is already established. The appendices hold important forms that all Branches must be aware of and submit to Headquarters as directed.

This manual was designed to have outdated materials removed and new materials added as needed. I suggest you to take good care of your Branch Manual and to assist the incoming president with familiarization of its contents.

As necessary headquarters will update the manual and notify you of changes via the ACEI Leader News. When you pass your materials to the next president, please make them aware of this online manual.
