Left Behind and Left Out: Education for Children of Migrant Workers in China
Since China's "Open and Reform" policy in 1978, drastic changes have taken place. One such change is increasing population mobility, and consequently the education of those children who are left behind (LiuShou ErTong) by their migrant parents. This presentation shares research, policy, and perspectives on the education and welfare of those left-behind children.
