Human Rights Day, December 10
Each year, people across the world celebrate Human Rights Day, marking the importance of each human to claim his or her basic rights. This year, many people found their voices through various forms of social media (e.g., Facebook, Twitter) to inspire supporters and activists alike. Social media helped many activists organize peaceful protests and global movements. Human Rights Day is celebrated annually on December 10th, the anniversary of the creation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
