Global Citizenship a Growing Sentiment Among Citizens of Emerging Economies

New findings released in April 2016 by GlobeScan indicate that nearly one in two people (49 per cent) surveyed across 14 countries see themselves more as global citizens than citizens of their country. This sentiment, driven by citizens of large emerging economies, will challenge many people’s (and organizations’) ideas of what the future may look like. This story was also reported by the BBC World Service.
