Support the Decade for Childhood - 2012-2022
At the 2012 Global Summit on Childhood, ACEI and the Alliance for Childhood launched the Decade for Childhood. The Decade is a multi-year initiative to examine the changes occurring in childhood and find ways to address them. Dr. Lea Pulkkinen from the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, served as the guest speaker.

ACEI is extremely pleased to announce that the first established Global Summit on Childhood was well-received and well-attended. Delegates from over 70 nations were present and a variety of issues and concerns about childhood were considered. We appreciate the thought-provoking and stimulating sessions from individuals, organizations, and universities from various nations.
