Awards & Grants

Chapters are encouraged to apply for recognition awards and grants. All award and grant applications must be submitted by December 1st. Current awards and grants available from ACEI include:

Awards

• Best Professional Development
• Best Global Focus
• Adviser of the Year
• Chapter Excellence Award

Grants

• Presidents’ Council Student Grant
• Local Conference Grant

IMPORTANT: EXPLANATION OF AWARD PERIOD

All awards submissions are due by December 1st, mid- way through the academic year. Chapters, then might wonder for which year’s activities they should submit their application. Should the application focus on the previous academic year’s activities or can they include current year activities- September through December 1st?

The answer is fairly simple. For example, if you are applying for Best Global Focus award, you should look back to your chapters previous years activities but you may also include activities from the start of your new year.

The same is true for all awards except for Adviser of the Year and Chapter Excellence. These must be submitted for service and activities of the previous academic year only. Please contact ACEI if you have any questions.
