WEEK OF THE CLASSROOM TEACHER PLANNING MATERIALS Ideas...Suggestions?

Celebrating Teachers

Week of the Classroom Teacher is celebrated in conjunction with World Teachers Day (October 5) during the first full week of October each year. The Headquarters Staff and Week of the Classroom Teacher Committee have put together a package of materials to help Branches celebrate. Now, Branch members and anyone else who is interested in celebrating in their country, state, community, school, etc., can access this kit on the ACEI web site. The kit contains information on the history of Week of the Classroom Teacher, its purposes, and ideas on how to celebrate it.

We want you to join us in reaching the goal of making this an even more important event. If you celebrated the Week of the Classroom Teacher at any level, please share your ideas with us by letting us know how you celebrated. We will be updating the package annually, and we would like to include your ideas.

Be sure to visit the web site for ideas and materials. Each Branch will be mailed a set of promotional materials early in the spring. They are also available at the Annual Conference. We welcome your feedback.
