The overall mission of the coalition is to set national standards that help assure quality and credibility in preparation programs for professional school personnel. Training Sessions
Universities and colleges seeking NCATE accreditation for elementary teacher education programs are required to submit a Program Review demonstrating compliance with the ACEI/NCATE Standards for Elementary Education. The Association for Childhood Education International, which administers the Program Review Process, regularly conducts training to familiarize university and college personnel with NCATE's program review process. The workshops are available in two formats:
- A comprehensive workshop held during ACEI's Annual Event (click here for more information) or,
- ACEI will send a trained program review specialist to your campus.
