Advocacy & Events

Advocacy is the deliberate process of taking ACTION in order to exert influence on issues of concern. ACEI advocacy efforts focus on producing more opportunities for the education of children in safe, appropriate, and stimulating learning environments. Through their grassroots advocacy and action-based initiatives, ACEI “educator advocates” have been a clear and consistent voice for change in childhood education for many years.  ACEI acknowledges that all children have the right to receive a quality education and bases its advocacy efforts on universal human rights principles, including the core principles of survival, protection, development, and participation. ACEI has a particular interest in helping to promote positive change in the lives of under-served and vulnerable children.
