The Impact of Media on Children
Susan Linn, Ed.D., Instructor in Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, is the Director of the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood (CCFC), a national coalition of health care professionals, educators, advocacy groups, parents, and individuals who care about children. Linn discusses how the convergence of unregulated commercialism and ubiquitous screen media is harming children and restricting their opportunities for hands-on creative play.
