Anita Pandey, Professor Morgan State University and author, was born and raised in Africa. Her family was constantly on the move, so she developed a passion for language(s) early on. She picked up Hindi, English, Yoruba, Hausa, and Nigerian Pidgin, French, and Spanish. Her most recent book is titled Language Building Blocks: Essential Linguistics for Early Childhood Educators.
