Committees/Special Forums

Committees and Special Interest Forums are the heart of the Association.

The Board Committees and Special Advisory Committees, managed by the Executive Board and ACEI Headquarters, support key activities of the association.

• The Board Committees
  Nominations, Finance, and Awards—offer support for ACEI governance and other important duties.

• Special Advisory Committees
  NCATE and the United Nations—will keep the Headquarters and the Board informed of key actions related to these important external organizations, while Special Interest Forums will allow members to form flexible networking groups based on shared interests.

The Program Committees and Special Interest Forums are member participation committees.  

• The Program Committees
  Publications, Research, and International Outreach—work in close conjunction with ACEI Headquarters, offering programmatic support and membership outreach.
• Special Interest Forums
  Children With Special Needs
  Global Training and Technical Assistance
  Early Childhood Education in Korea
  Environmental Education
